How will i receive my insurance documents?
When you take out a new policy with us, we'll aim to issue your documents in as little as 48 hours. Your policy documents will be safely stored online in your personal vault account and we'll email details of how to access them. It really is very simple. If you'd prefer to receive your documents by post, they will normally be with you within 3 working days.
'Our Insurance Vault' looks really useful. Is it free?
Yes, this service is completely free. Every time we issue insurance documents to you, we will upload them into your personal vault account for you to review and download whenever you need them. You can also upload insurance documents from other insurance companies to the vault for safekeeping.
How do I contact your Service Team?
Whatever the question or query, simply call 01772 280 718 to speak to a member of our highly trained Service Team. If your query is about an existing ST&R policy, please have the policy number to hand.
I want to amend a policy. What should I do?
Just call our Service Team on 01772 280 718. In most cases, they will be able to make any changes right away, to ensure that you continue to enjoy complete peace-of-mind from a policy that fully meets your needs.
How do I make a claim?
Most important of all, don't panic. If possible, have your policy details to hand or access them via 'Our Insurance Vault' - then give us a call as soon as possible on 01772 280 718. We aim to help settle all claims quickly - even in the most complex of cases.
How can I make sure I never miss a renewal?
We'll always contact you in good time before a renewal is due. Download the 'Your Vault' app and we'll even send reminders direct to your phone.
Will I receive a discount for having more than one policy with you?
At ST&R we believe in rewarding loyalty. That's why we offer generous multi-product discounts. To benefit, you'll simply need to take out one of our protection products - such as life insurance. You will then be entitled to savings off all of our general insurance products.
How do I set up a Trust?
We offer a free, dedicated Trust service and can help you throughout the process of arranging for your life policy to be written into Trust. We have our own in-house accountant and work in partnership with a firm of solicitors.
What is a Trust and do I need one?
A Trust is a legal arrangement that allows you to gift the proceeds of your life policy to another person or persons. Unlike a Will, it cannot be contested. When you take out life insurance, it's important to also think about setting up a Trust. Putting your policy 'In Trust' puts you in control of who will benefit from your policy and how much they will receive. A Trust helps ensure faster payment to your beneficiaries and that no inheritance tax liability occurs.
Can I cancel my life cover at any time?
Of course. If at any time you decide that you no longer require your life cover or feel that it no longer meets your needs, you can cancel it free-of-charge.
