Amy began her employment with ST&R in 2012 as an apprentice, completing an NVQ. She has demonstrated an exceptional ability to adapt to business needs, working in various departments such as Outbound Sales, General Insurance, Protection Insurance, and Retentions. Amy’s resilience in the face of change and customer demand, along with her talent for encouraging and mentoring staff, quickly stood out. This has led to her being entrusted with managing multiple departments and providing one-on-one support and training across the organization. Amy is every reason why this programme works.

When Sarah Griffith joined ST&R as a Sales Advisor at just 21 years old, she arrived with curiosity, determination, and a willingness to learn. What they didn’t yet know was that they were about to build a career that would become one of the standout success stories in our business.

Starting in an entry-level role, Sarah quickly became known for her work ethic, professionalism, and natural ability to connect with clients. She embraced every challenge, asked the right questions, and consistently pushed themselves to grow. As the business evolved, so did she—taking on new responsibilities, developing specialist knowledge, and becoming a trusted go‑to for colleagues and clients alike.

Over the years, Sarah progressed through multiple roles, each time proving her capability, resilience, and commitment to excellence. As she went on to Operations Director, managing a larger team.

ST&R Annual Team Conference

Since 2012, Star founders James and Natasha have taken great pleasure in organising annual Staff Conferences for the entire team and their partners.

This event honours and recognises Team ST&R and those individuals who have exceeded targets, improved their performance, demonstrated long-term loyalty to ST&R, and positively impacted the work environment.

The Staff Conference offers the team a chance to network and socialise outside the office, significantly boosting employee morale by showing appreciation for their hard work. It also provides James and Natasha the perfect opportunity to reward their dedication.

Our video shows the 13th Staff Conference, held at The Tipis at Riley Green, featuring an award ceremony hosted by boxing champion Jack Catterall, with live music and entertainment from a hypnotist.
